Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Compact or appropriate state license Certifications: BLS, NIH (required); ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only) - Previous travel experience Description: The position is in a Stroke Unit. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. Special equipment used includes Hoyer lifts, Alaris IV pumps, and ENfit feeding pumps. There is potential for floating to similar units. Candidates are expected to work 8 weekends per contract. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Orientation is provided and spans 8 hours. AHA certifications are required. CPI certification is required for all emergency room nurses before the start date. References will need to be provided before clearance to start.
