Job Description:
A company is looking for an Animation Artist III to support an
unpublished fighting game project.
Key Responsibilities
Own gameplay animation from early character development through
final, shipping-quality release
Create polished, expressive animations that enhance gameplay and
align with the project's visual and combat style
Collaborate with game designers to prototype and refine character
actions and gameplay mechanics
Qualifications & Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in animation for games
5+ years of hands-on experience using Maya for 3D animation
Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating melee combat animations in a
shipped AAA title
Experience collaborating with combat designers to support gameplay
execution
Solid understanding of animation fundamentals including timing,
weight, anticipation, and impact
