Remote Associate Underwriter

Job Description:

A company is looking for an Associate Underwriter to manage underwriting tasks for a book of business while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform risk selection and analysis by evaluating various documents to assess underwriting risks
Review customer web activity to identify and address trends in real-time
Communicate with agents, brokers, and internal staff to obtain information and provide underwriting support

Required Qualifications:

Preferably 3+ years of experience in E&S insurance
Experience in underwriting binding, MGA, or brokerage is a plus
Carrier underwriting background is advantageous
