Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriter III to manage various
underwriting activities for retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and evaluate loan documents for accuracy and compliance with
standards
Analyze loan applications and supporting documentation to identify
potential fraud or misrepresentation
Provide options and recommendations to borrowers regarding suitable
loan programs
Required Qualifications and Education
High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in Business,
Finance, or related field preferred
Five or more years of experience underwriting conventional, FHA,
VA, or Bond Program loans
Direct Endorsement (DE) certification required
Expert-level knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulatory
requirements
Intermediate math skills
