Shift - Rotating shifts, primarily days, including both 7 am - 7 pm
and 7 pm - 7 am.
Contract - 13 Weeks
Summary:
The 3-North Unit RN is accountable for assessing patient and family
health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in
planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. This position
provides technical nursing care and interventions to a designated
patient population, specifically Medical/Surgical patients aged
eighteen and above. The RN must demonstrate an understanding of the
functional and developmental ages of individuals served. Commitment
to the mission of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital and
alignment with the hospital's Core Values and strategic goals is
essential. Participation in the hospital's Performance Improvement
Plan (PIP) is also expected.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and families to
identify health issues.
Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized
nursing care plans.
Provide technical nursing care and interventions in accordance with
established protocols.
Collaborate with the nursing team and other healthcare
professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to the
functional/developmental ages of patients.
Participate actively in the hospital's mission and strategic
initiatives.
Engage in continuous quality improvement and participate in the
Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Requirements:
One year of recent nursing experience preferred.
Current Louisiana RN License.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification.
Work Schedule:
Rotating shifts, primarily days, including both 7 am - 7 pm and 7
pm - 7 am.
