Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and nursing skills in the care of patients in accordance with facility and departmental polices and in accordance with standards of nursing practice.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Graduate of an Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse program
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of scope and role of the Licensed Practical Nurse, Nursing Assistant, CNA and Unit Secretary.
