Job Description:
A company is looking for a Vice President, Corporate Actuarial
to manage and lead all Actuarial functions for the Valuation pillar
of the Actuarial department.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the corporate actuarial team, ensuring accurate estimates
of loss reserves and monitoring trends
Provide financial updates and actionable insights to senior
leadership for informed decision-making
Collaborate with leadership to design reinsurance strategies and
manage relationships with external consultants and auditors
Required Qualifications
Associate or Fellow in the Society of Actuaries or Casualty Actuary
Society
15+ years of relevant Actuarial experience
8+ years of leadership and pricing experience within the insurance
industry
Expertise in Actuarial principles, valuation, and financial
reporting
Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage stakeholders
effectively
